The original recording and a timestamped transcript with speaker labels stay attached, and you can replay individual lines to check them.
On Mac, Phrase records the room through your microphone without a meeting bot. It does not capture audio directly from Zoom, Teams or FaceTime; you need to import a call recording instead. You can also import audio files, video, PDFs and photos. Transcription supports more than 100 languages and detects language changes during a conversation.
The block editor lets you rewrite text, move sections, check off tasks and add photos, code, formulas and diagrams. You can ask questions across your notes and follow answers back to their sources. Notes can also be turned into slide decks, flashcards and quizzes.
No account is required. Notes are stored on your devices, but recordings are uploaded for cloud processing, and AI features send relevant text to an AI service.
