AppAtlas
AppAtlas brings your installed Mac apps into a searchable inventory. You can filter by source and architecture, organize apps with collections and category tags, and export the inventory as a record of your installed software.
For supported apps, it compares installed and available versions and shows available release notes and dates. Coverage depends on developer feeds and catalog sources; missing or ambiguous information remains unavailable rather than being guessed.
Each app has a dedicated page for descriptions, pictures, and detailed information. You can review available signing, notarization, Gatekeeper, and permission information, or open the inspector to see running processes grouped by app, with process names and counts. Related categories also help you explore alternative apps and review their details.
Your installed app inventory stays on your Mac. Optional online lookups contact app catalogs and developer sources to add information. AppAtlas requires macOS 26 or later and Apple silicon.
