PatchRig FX Workstation

PatchRig FX Workstation builds effects rigs for guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals, drums, and reference audio. You can start with a ready-made pedalboard, describe a sound, use bundled song-tone traits, or import a recording or reference loop to build around.

Built-in audition performances let you hear rigs before playing through them. You can preview individual effects before adding them, edit the signal graph, insert pedals and amps, and compare changes with A/B controls. Meters, spectrum views, bypass controls, and loop audition help you evaluate the result.

The app includes pedal, amp, and DSP designers, along with MIDI tools and instrument voices. You can save creations, export audio, sync through iCloud, and share playable patches with preview audio.

For live input, use a USB Audio Class compliant interface or a supported Core Audio device with suitable instrument, line, or microphone inputs. Monitoring is available through the interface outputs or a supported system output. On Mac, registered Audio Unit effects can be validated and used when available through the system Audio Unit host path. The app requires an Apple silicon Mac.
