PulseTiles snaps Mac windows into halves, thirds and quarters using Command-drag zones, keyboard shortcuts or a searchable launcher. It supports multiple displays and saved window arrangements.

PulseTiles is a menu bar app for arranging Mac windows into halves, thirds, quarters and other preset positions. Hold Command while dragging to reveal snap zones and preview where the window will land. Dragging without Command leaves windows free to move normally.

You can also choose positions from the menu bar, use Control-Option shortcuts, or open a searchable launcher with right Command + /. Shortcuts can be customized, with warnings for duplicate assignments and keys used by other apps. Repeating a shortcut can cycle between half, third and two-thirds sizes.

Saved arrangements let you restore a group of windows from the menu bar or a dedicated shortcut. Snapping works across multiple displays, with commands to move a window to the next or previous display. You can adjust gaps between windows, set a separate edge gap for each display, and exclude specific apps from snapping. Small windows such as dialogs are skipped.

By default, snapping affects the window you are using and leaves other windows in place. PulseTiles requires Accessibility permission to move and resize other apps’ windows. It requires no account and has no tracking or analytics; network connections are used for update checks and licence activation and validation.
